July 28, 2017.  With a plan to have a book and photo memorial ready for the 100^th anniversary of the end of WWI, Pieter wanted to publicize the names of the WWI war dead.  While we had quite a bit of luck with the names from WWII on the Cenotaph outside the Borden-Carleton Legion in Prince Edward Island, we weren’t so lucky with the WWI names.

In some cases, family couldn’t be found.  Sometimes we found family only to be told they either never heard of the person.  Most of the time, the family was aware of the person, but no photo survived, let alone other documents such as letters or postcards.

So here is what we know so far….
